URBANREC
URBANREC is a European research project that aims to create an integrated and eco-innovative system for bulky waste management. This project involves 21 partners, including public bodies, NGOs and private companies, from four EU regions: Spain, Portugal, Germany and Poland. It is managed by the Plastics Technological Institute of Valencia.
The main aim of the project is to reduce the total amount of bulky waste that is dumped in the four study areas. In order to do this, the project develops a number of actions that include innovative technologies and waste treatment methods.
